The 2nd World Youth Bridge Congress will be held in Opatija, a picturesque maritime resort town in Croatia, from 21 to 30 August 2011. Young players from all member countries of the World Bridge Federation are invited to participate in this massive competition, which will be hosted in Opatija's Grand Hotel. Transnational combinations are allowed to compete in all events, and there are no restrictions on the number of players who could participate from any single country.

2010 World Junior Championships: Youth, Youngsters, Girls
At the same time as the 2010 World Bridge Series Championships (October 1-16, 2010), the World Youth Team Championships will also take place in Philadelphia. Normally, this would com-prise two series, Juniors (for players up to 26 years) and Youngsters (former Schools, for players up to 21 years), for teams representing the WBF zones, competing for the Ortiz-Patiño Trophy and Damiani Cup respectively. In addition, a new series will be introduced for Girls (female players up to 26 years old), also for zonal teams; they will have the Rona Cup at stake.

TheAnnual Youth North American Bridge Championship (YNABC) had its inaugural in 2008. Events are open to any player 19 years of age or younger with fewer than 5000 ACBL masterpoints (or equivalent) as of July 1, 2009. Internet Club for students - A new club, especially de-signed for students, has been established on Bridge Base Online (BBO): the University Bridge Room. All students are welcome to the online tournaments held every Wednesday at 20.00 hrs and Sunday at 15.00 hrs CET (Central European Time).
